Wiring up a shift light?

any sites on easy install info on how to wire up a shift light I can get my hands on?

A couple of places you can get the tach signal on your 1995:

Red PCM connector "A", pin 13 (white wire)

White/black wire on the coil connector

there is a link on there to an install page also. his shiftlights are great. no modules needed and small/bright. thats where Im getting mine from. he has other electonic stuff too.

yeah, your right. havent looked at it in a long time. but the link for install/instructions does work. you need adobe to read it though.

I spliced mine into the wire in my dash that goes to the factory tach. Works great that way.

Yeah, I am right it doesn't work, but it does work? I don't understand.

I get "The page cannot be displayed" when I try to go there. I have no problem with Acrobat files.

Let's see a link that works.

if you click on shiftlight at the left top of the mainpage, then at the top right, under the red link titled "check them out" or just click on the link above. then scroll down to page 3 and there they are. writen instructions. but it doesnt specify on an LT1 eng. wich wire exactly you need. only that specific for the LS1.

Ok, I was going to the Install University link that was on the bottom-it does not work. I looked at the one you mention, but as you say, it has no info for the LT1.
