I'm going to be replacing most of the guages in the car with Autometer guages.

When wiring up an electric oil pressure guage, can I use the wires from the stock sending unit?

I'd like the factory guages to continue working, so I think I'll need to install another sending unit. Is there a place on the block to install an aftermarket sending unit? The car is a '93, but I'm not sure what year the block is from.

 

You can install the sending unit in one of two places, just above the oil filter there is a plug, or on the back of the block right near the intake manifold on the drivers side.
