Wiring the switch for an E-Cutout?

I am ordering an e-cutout some time in the next day or so, but need to know how hard it is to wire myself? I know how to solder and whatnot, but where exactly do you run the wires to get to the ashtray area? I'd like to take out the cigarette lighter and mount the switch there, or in the ashtray. Any pics would help!

Also, what do you need to splice into to wire the cutout in?

remove your centre console (4 bolts, 10mm) and then run the wires from the bottom of the car through the rubber shifter boot( cut a pin size hole in it) and then i ran my power to my cigarette lighter and drilled a new hole underneath the lighter and stuck the toggle in there.

there is only one big wire coming from the e-cutout itself. just zip tie it away from the exhaust and you'll be fine
