Wiring question???

Is it true that in the GM wiring scheme for our cars that any of the under dash PINK wires are 12V, ignition swith-controlled? Thanks!

The pink wire in a 94 coming from the ign switch is hot when the switch is in the start or the run position. The orange wire is hot only in the run position and the yellow is hot only in the start position. The only other one I saw was the brown that is hot in accy and run. If you do pull from these wires, be sure to use a seperate fuse. Otherwise, get the power from a switched fuse.

I used the pink wire for reference power to a relay for my waterpump, so the pump comes on when the switch is turned ON.
