Passenger side harness that goes down to the knock sensor and for the rear and front o2 sensors,there are these two wires with o ring terminals on them One is a 10 gauge purple wire and the other is a black wire 12 gauge,I thought maybe these were both just ground wires.But I think maybe one of them is for the selonoid on the starter.Thank You in Advance David

 

the purple one is the for the starter, you are correct.

The black wire is a ground on the block by the starter.
