cooling probs..wiring Meziere water pump?

I have a meziere electric water pump with 160 thermo with the setup in the signature. I have a new aftermarket 1000 HP capable custom aluminum radiator, freshly cleaned block, about 75% distilled water, and a bottle of water wetter and i never can get the car to run cooler than 190 or so, and when its about 80 degs or more outside, the temp slowly rises up to 210'ish, but never actually over-heats (as in boiling over). I know i have a pretty radical setup, and with the TH350 it runs about 3000 RPM at 55, but i dont think it should be doing this. I had the water pump wired up with the blue wire positive and black to ground for a year now, but figured id try it wired opposite, black positive blue to ground just to see if it helped any...and it seems like it did. I didnt drive it or anything, just idling in the garage for a few mins it stayed around 160, where it is usually 180 or 185. I wanted to get some thoughts or suggestions on this before i take it for a spin. thanks

Chad
