Wiring electric water pump
Wiring electric water pump
What are you guys wiring them to so it comes on with ignition?
I have heard about running it off the airpump realy or something? I have never wired one to anything other than a switch.....But this is more of a street car, and I don't want anyone to forget to cut it on

I used a piggyback connector.
Use the fan relay circuit as a trigger. That way you can run your EWP in
ACC while you're cooling down at the track (or otherwise).

You could use the air pump circuit if you wanted to, this just seemed easier to be
since someone had already documented it with pretty pictures LOL

Mine is wired in to the fuse box under the hood... but I do not remember where, lol. It was wired on to the bottom of the fuse pannel, I'll go out later and look as to where exactly I wired it. But it's been there for something like 7 or 8 years and still good.

I don't remember if that's where mine is wired in to or not, but my pump turns on in ACC too.
I use the a wire under the fuse box that comes on when the ignition is activated-that in turn powers up to relays I wired up to power the WP
Its been like that for 3 years now with flawless performance, you can also just turn the key forward to turn the Ignition on and it powers up the water pump so it can run with the Engine off...I wouldnt recomend it though as it could run your battery pretty quick
