Did you not see my post wrap them with plastic wire dress keep them away from the header and you will not see a blue show under your hood anymore

you have any info on this stuff? i have no idea what you're talking about/where to get it

You can get it at any auto parts store but you will find it cheaper at a home depot. Its the same stuff your injector wires and your main wiring harness is wrapped in. Instead off wires all over they wrap it in the black plastic with a slice in the middle.

ohhhhhhhhhh ok split loom. Yeah i'll give that a shot. I didn't know the stuff offered any kind of protection against arcing but anything is better than nothing i suuppose

btw, thanks for the help. i'm just glad i noticed it because these little problems have been driving me crazy

ok i covered the wires w/ split loom and it seems to run better, BUT i watched it at night, and there is a constant little lighting bolt going from the alternator itself to the accessory belt wtf?? do i have a bad alternator or a bad ground or something?
