Which wire to tap into to install gauges so they dim like stock ones?

Which wire do I tap into to get power to my aftermarket gauges so they will dim along with the stock gauges?

Its a 95 z. I have been told the green wire on the dimmer switch?

I am going to check it later today with a multimeter, figured i would ask here first.

I know if it's a radio, it is an orange wire. Not sure about the car side of it though.

I'm pretty sure I used a grey wire on the back of the stock stereo connector. <shrug> It was forever ago though... The easiest way if you have a voltmeter is find the stereo harness, turn on the key and the lights, then adjust the dimmer and monitor the wire to see which one adjusts down from 12V.

Run a wire to the fuse panel on the driver side of the dash. I believe the fuse you want is "interior accessories". But don't quote me on that one.
