Windshield wipers

I just replaced my wipers with some really nice ones, and now they are missing spots. I looked at it closer, and the far ends of the wiper are not toutching the glass. I can push on them when they are on, and it won't miss spots. I was wondering if it was the spring in my wiper arms, or the wipers aren't flexable to cover the contours of my windshield.

I had the same problem after the second set of blades it still did it. Finally replaced the whole assembly on 11.99 each. Works like a charm now.

Well I did that, you mean the blade and it's assembly right? Not the entire wiper arm.

Yes the blade and the assembly. I tried the blade refills which did not work.

make sure when you put your wiper arm on the windshield, you press down on it to make it tight to the window, othwise it will skip on your widow, leave marks, or even "miss spots" as your saying! hope this works

I push it down, and it kinda springs back? Do you think the springs in the actual wiper blade are too strong, or the springs in the arm are too weak?

Try a different brand of wiper blade.
If that does not work you may have the same problem I had, the whole wiper arm assembly had gotten weak and I had to replace it, the spring in the arm had gotten weak and was not pressing the blace all the way to the windshield.
I replaced the whole arm and its fine now.

Thanks for your help. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that. The arms are like $50 each from a dealer and I'm afraid if I go to a junk yard that they could be worn out too.
