I'm just wondering if anyone here has ever gotten any hassles or worst yet got failed for having a cutout. I'm debating about puttin one on since I live in a tree hugger state and the last 3 smogs I've had all were through a Smog Test Center only so i'm a little curious if anyone has been warned or failed or what not?

Just cap it up before you go in to avoid them complaining about it. Both my old cars had cutouts on and with them cap I never heard a word form the smog monkies.

 

yep being in cali sucks sometimes, just cap it and they cant really say anything really because it is not letting anything out. thats what i think.

 

I went in one time with it uncapped and they didnt say anything about it. Im guessing it all really depends on where you go and if they are gonna be ***** about it.

For what it's worth, they can fail you in PA for just basic inspection, or smog.
