will a TPI and LT1 throttle body both bolt up?

Can i bolt up a TPI throttle body to my LT1 intake? I ask this because i need the prong for the 700R4 TV cable. Or did the LT1 have one for the 4l60e? Thanks in advance -Joe

Is the throttle action the same between the two? (do they both "swing" the same way?)

You need a TB from a 93 LT1. It had the kickdown cable pin on it. I'm not sure if a TPI TB will work. It will bolt up, but it might not work right.

Street and Performance sells an adapter for around $30 that alows the TV cable to be used with your TB. I used one in my LT1 swap for my 84 corvette and it worked out great.
