I have a 1994 Formula A4 car. I would like to know if these mods will get me to 300rwhp or close. My planned mods are these, whenever I rebuild the engine.

1. SLP CAI
2. Borla 2 3/4 Y pipe
3. throttle body coolant bypass
4. Hooker aerochamber exhaust
5. Carsound high flow cat
6. Crane 227 camshaft 479 intake 518 exhaust 210 224 duration
7. 160 thermostat
8. PCM for less programming

 

yes the cam + 1.6 rockers with everything else mentioned should get you around 300 to the wheels...

 

I'm at over 300RWHP with just boltons + rockers in my A4 car. I would get headers before the cam though, I don't see those on your list.

 

Stock stall?

 

Yeah, but a stall if anything would lower the hp #'s on the dyno.

 

Cars vary per car. Look at some stock cars. Some stock cars dyno 260 and some dyno 290. Its really hard to tell, but if the car is around normal I would say yeah, 300-310. The auto and stall may hurt you a little.

Like mentioned above, I think you'll hit 300 with your list without the cam if you get LT headers. I should be around there once I install my rockers next month. I also am installing the Crane 227 at the end of the year, hoping for around 330-340 when I'm done. Should be running low 12's with good traction.
