I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula A4 car. I would like to know if these mods will get me in the 13's in the 1/4 mile.
1. SLP CAI
2. Borla 2.75 Y pipe on stock exhaust manifolds
3. Hooker exhaust
4. TPIS airfoil
5. Cat delete, 3in. straight pipe in place
6. 3.42 gears
7. Tb bypass
8. 160 t. stat
9. PCM for less power tuning
10. Fuddle Racing 2800 stall converter

 

The tune, converter and gears should be enough alone. Unless your motor is doggin it you should be fine with that.

 

Stall, gears and sticky tires should get you there.

 

The CAI alone should get you into the 13's.

 

Some people have broken into the 13s on a stock A4 car. With all of those planned mods., you shouldn't have a problem.

Depends upon your altitude-these mods wont get you 13's where I live!!!

 

Um dude your car can hit 13s bone stock if you can drive. With those mods and some tires look for deep deep 13s, I'd guess 13.3 with a tire.

Assuming you're sea level.

 

Well since no one has asked yet, what was your best time when you were stock? I have a M6 and my best stock was a 14.4 @ 97. I put in a 9" rear and slicks an went 13.801 @ 99 on a bone stock engine. Thats 6/10 of a second with just suspension work that lowered my 60'. Heck, I have more weight and less hp now since I swapped rears. I think that a converter will be enough for you to get into the 13's. Heck, I have seen several bone stock A4's go 13.8-13.9.
