Re: will these flow enough?

I think what you have now will flow more than enough for your setup.

Re: will these flow enough?

i have one magnaflow cat in the I-pipe.. i was told its choking the engine because there were originally two cats, one for each side of the engine, and one cat taking all the air isnt going to flow enough... plus id like my setup to be a little more legal for when emissions comes around

well 95's didnt have dual cats, that didnt start til 1996..
no matter what u do to make it more legal, it's not gonna happen til u take off the Long Tubes
I'd rather upgrade the valve springs and rockers before i waste money on doing a dual cat setup which wont gain you anything anyways IMO..

Re: will these flow enough?

interesting... well as far as my emissions go the car is legal now as long as it can pass the sniffer which it has trouble doing because the one cat isnt cleaning enough, its too far back and doesnt heat up enough. I read that 1 hp needs 2.2 CFM and there was this thread here that was all about dual cats are always better then a single cat. I dont know it seemed like there was a lot of background information saying to go with dual cats but i guess im wrong

no ur prolly right about flow, but for the cost to buy new cats, get them installed just isnt worth the gains IMO

Re: will these flow enough?

well the reason i was gonna do it was because i want to put a cutout in and thats exactly where my cat is.. in that special place for the cutout.. so i figured id remove that cat and get some better flow out of the whole setup while im putting the cutout in.. i wouldnt do it just for the cats. the cutout is really my motivation.. i dont know my birthday is wednesday so im going to have some money to full around with so i figure it wont be too much of a loss
