Does anyone know if you can modify a lt1 to work with a HEI distributer?

 

you still want fuel injection?

 

You have to drill the intake manifold for the distrubutor and pulll the motor to install it. I believe it has been done, i think you have to run either the "crab cap" style or something else thats low profile to clear the dash/cowl area

 

on top of the aforementioned.

If you want to keep your fuel injection then you will need the optical sensors in the opti to still be there OR get a stand alone DFI.

 

tony shepard has a nice crank trigger setup you might want to look at while running a low profile hei distributor
