You may want to ask this question in the Forced Induction section of this forum I believe you will get more helpful/detailed answers there.

If you have a stock LT1, I would not put a blower on it until you are ready for a rebuild but if you do choose to run a blower on an Stock Lt1, I would not suggest going over 6psi of boost.

It should fit, but as said above dont run more than 6psi

No, it will not fit. On the Corvette the SC mounts on the passenger side (where the F-body alternator sits). The head unit is the same though, AFAIK.
