yes, but you have to bend and cut up the bracing inside to clear the wide rocker bodies.

i did that already..the rockers are in there with the stock cam..im just wondering if the rockers will hit the roof of the valve cover with the higher lift cam.

Ran them here with over 0.6" lift without issues.

Actually, you dont have to cut anything.

The braces that go across the valve covers, to keep the tubes the valve cover bolts run through in line, just need bent. If you look at the bottom edge of the braces, they are L shapped. Bend the intake side ( You could do the exhaust side too, but you only HAVE to do the intake ) of the L UP so that it is now straight. The covers will fit fine, and clear the pro mags. O yea, and you have to crimp the breather too so that the bubbled out middle clears it.

To awnser the origional question, they should absolutley clear it.

What is the lift at the valve with 1.6's and an 847? I know its getting up there in lift, but definatly not .67X high.

Thanks, your right, been a while since I did the 847, I went to AFR heads with perimiter bolts and valve covers (no more fit issues) few months after the 847 and forgot about the brackets mod.

What I did to make sure when I installed my 1.6 Pro Mags (with one of Bret's > .600 lift cams) was to put small blobs of modeling clay on the tips of the rockers and the tops of the poly locks, then put the clearanced valve covers on without the gaskets. Then I pulled the engine over a few times by hand. The clay was mashed down to around 0.200". No problem.
