Will a stock frinction disk work with a Spec Stage II PP and T/O?
Will a stock frinction disk work with a Spec Stage II PP and T/O?
Just curious... I've been having problems with my Spec Stage II set up, and I'm kind of suspicious of the Kevlar disk that Spec using with the Stage II. I've read that it can be very tempermental.
So I was just wondering if the stock (or I suppose any non kevlar friction disk) will work with the Spec Stage II PP, T/O bearing and a machined stock flywheel.
Thanks!

Do you have the stock parts laying around? You should probably check the thickness of the clutch disk and t/o bearing to make sure you don't have any engagement/disengagement problems. For example, if the throwout bearing is too small the clutch will not disengage all the way, if too large your clutch won't last very long. Also, the PP might have more pressure than the stock one, so it still won't feel the same as stock.
