Will STEEL FORGED crank out of truck engine fit an LT1?

I heard from a friend that a 1 piece rear main seal, steel forged crank from a 350sbc 3/4 ton and 1 ton GM trucks will fit an LT1?
Like 1987 to 1998ish???
Would this be a cheap way to do an all forged motor beause the steel forged crank in the 3/4 ton and 1 ton pickups are sopposed to be only like $200.00??
Just buy forged rods and pistons and be an all forged nitrous motor for cheap??

Yes if it's a 1-piece seal it'll fit fine, even if it's a 2-piece there's an adapter to make it work.
I know the truck blockes are 4-main, but not sure if the crank is forged. If it was forged it will be the lesser 1053 alloy as opposed to the superior aftermarket 4340.

Thanks sssalah,

So it seems like the GM truck forging is junk compared to aftermarket?
