Will a roller cam from a gen 1 sbc work with an 94 Lt1?
I can get this cam for cheap looks similar to the cc503. Specs with 1.6 rockers are 222/230 543/563 112lsa.

The nose is a little different. LT cam has a longer dowel and a center hole for the Opti.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a retrofit cam for a Gen I block that doesn't use a retainer plate - those cams are not step nose and use a thrust button to set forward thrust.

The '86 + blocks use the step nose cam with a retaining plate.
