Will ported intake and stock heads hurt anything?

I bought some heads and ended up getting ripped. While I was waiting on them to arrive I had the intake gasket matched.

Now I am on stock heads and the intake is ported, so there is a lip in the path between the intake and the intake ports on the head, will this hurt performance any and also could this cause delivery problems on n20?

If by 'lip' you mean what I think you do, then yes & yes.

Its just that the intake is ported and heads are not. So the intake holes are bigger than the holes on the intake side of the head.

Intake is gasket matched, heads are not.

You ever fill an empty coke bottle with water? Everything is fine if you aim the water stream directly into the opening, but if your hand happens to move and the water hits the rim of the bottle; water sprays everywhere.

It's like that.

Hmmm. Guess its time to at least hog the intake/exhaust ports.
