Will my Spec stage III ever stop shaking my car on engagement?

I just put a spec stage III in my car. The more streetable one of the two. It makes my car shudder pretty bad when taking on in first and even shifting to second. It has a bout 150 miles on it now and it seems to get worse as time goes by. I was told this clutch would shatter a little but not shake my entire car on engagement. I had my flywheel resurfaced and followed specs instructions.

Thanks
Shawn

Give it time... after the break in things will be different. I have an old stage III which is definately a much harder enagement then the new ones. It honestly doesn't shake the car tho it will chatter if I try and ride it. You just need to learn to let it engage quickly and stop riding it like you would a stocker.

After the break in the clutch will be more manageable AND you will be better able to drive it.

Just give it time.

I have the new style stage 3 (6 puck) prob the one that you have also. It is VERY VERY harsh for the first few hundred miles, about the 300 mile mark it will get ALOT better. No worries, put some miles on it.

this was one of their latest designs supposedlly just out. They call it a stage III hybrid and it has some kevlar in thier somehwere. I hope it gets better. i traffica round here. (rush hour) you can't just drop the clutch with out slamming in to the back of another car. you just kinda have to ride it.

Thanks
Shawn
