I have searched on this but couldn't find an answer to this specific question. I am installing my pacesetter Lt's and y pipe this weekend and am tring to anticipate any problems that might arise. I have all the parts except the stage 8 locking header bolts and OVC loom and wire kit from Thunder racing that should be here before saturday I hope *crosses his fingers* Any help would be great guys thanks

 

Let me be more specific. My pacesetter Y pipe is 3" and has slip fits to connect to the collectors but where it meets into one the end has just a 3" pipe with no slip fit end and no flanges. I looked at my exhaust last night and the pipe that leads back from the catylitic converter has a flange. My question is will I have to cut the flange off? Has anyone installed these parts with the stock 2 3/4 pipe ? Thanks
