Will the Mezeire heavy duty WP fit my 95Z?

I am replacing my Mezeire water pump on my 95Z. It's just the standard on there now, but I have ordered the Heavy Duty version for it's replacement. Will there be any fitment issues? Does this one stick out any further? I didn't have to trim the fan shroud at all for the one I have on there now, but figured since it needed replacing, to go for the heavy duty version.

Anyone out there know for sure? Summit said it shouldn't be a problem, but I would like to see if anyone here had any issues upgrading to the larger unit.

Thanks!

I have a Mez 55 gpm but haven't installed it yet. It's 3.5" tall from the flange mounting sealing surface to the top of the housing for the rear support bearing/bushing.
Good Luck

You'll have to trim the fan shroud for the HD

Thanks for letting me know! I would rather not have to do that, so will return it for the regular sized one when I get it.

Thanks for the replies

You need to measure the clearance in your car. I am currently using the old CSI E-pump. It's ~ 2" tall but I had to take a small piece out of my fan shroud to fit it. my Z has no AC so it's a single large fan (instead of 2 smaller ones) so this might not apply, but measure it. I also found I could drill new holes in the radiator top retaining plate and "stand the rad up" , gaining some additional clearance (~` 1") and use the 55gpm pump.
Good Luck

Thanks for your suggestions! I will check to see which I can use, I would like to use the heavy duty if possible. I will attempt this next Tuesday....I am having to replace the timing chain gasket, and since I am already there, this is convenient.

Installed my HD a few weeks ago... had to trim the shroud almost to where the fan is turning. If you have deleted AC (no condensor up front), you can move radiator more vertical and not cut the shroud, takes much more work to do though.
