Actually, they are what Sam Strano recommends I believe. He is an autocross National Champion, and knows his stuff, to say the least. Maybe he'll see this post and chime in.

I'm running the LS1 fronts on my 95. It results in a slightly lower stance, maybe .100"-.200" since they're a tad bit softer, but other than that everything works and fits fine.

Eibach lists two different part numbers for the LT1 and the LS1. However I bought my springs used so I don't know where they came from.

If you go to the autocross section of this site, I have a thread going about Eibach springs. There are spring rate numbers there for both sets of springs. Also a link to a bunch of good data.

Yuppers.

The rears are the same drop at the LT1. The LS1 kit drops .1" more (1.6" as opposed to LT1 1.5"), to compensate for the 60 lbs in saved weight with the LS1 motor.

However, my front springs give a lower stance more than .1" it appears than the LT1 kit on the LT1. I liked it so much, I suggested it to a buddy who did the same.

However, just like SOTP meter, I haven't measured it... so I could be talking out of my azz.

I've had no issues, except the occasional rub on full lock turn in reverse to the plastic wheel well.

Here's the spring info.

Stock spring specs are:
Front: 292 #/in
Rear: 112 #/in

There are two Pro-kits offerered for fourthgens.
LT1 Pro-kit specs:
Front: 377-600 #/in
Rear: 94-160 #/in

LS1 Pro-kit specs:
Front: 400 #/in
Rear: 80-137 #/in

The LS1 kit is better in my opinion because the front springs are linear rate. That is what shocks are designed for.
