If the heads are gasket matched then it could be a really close fit. The ports are drastically different if you ask me and I have a set of iron heads sitting in my garage so Im not comparing pictures. Port alignment is critical and the worst thing you can have is an intake port overlapping the intake runner on the heads which is what you risk.

You asked if the intake will work and sure it will bolt up just fine and its an LT1 intake. Its just made specifically for IRON HEADS but ported heads could work.... its a gamble.

Bolting up a mismatched intake to LT1 aluminum heads didn't stop GM. By that, I mean larger manifold port into smaller head port. The problem is the heads, not the manifold. This went on till the LT4 intake was cast, BTW.

My 97 had very closely matched ports.
