will false knock retard cause stumbling??
My lt1 has a problem. It runs real rough at part throttle under load, I have a scanmaster says about 15 degrees pulled timing. At WOT it's better about 4 degrees. Anyway, in theory if the engine is noisy or if there is alot of exhaust noise if the computer pulls 15 degrees of timing will that cause the engine to run like crap, eg. stumbling, hesitation, etc... or will the car just have less power which I think will be the case.
I THINK it is ignition related, I replaced all the spark plugs, same problem. I also bypassed my aftermarket ignition, same problem. I ordered a set of new wires I will try that next. THen i'll try some fuel injector cleaner. If thats not it, I hope it isn't the opti.
Anyway, just wanted to know if I can eliminate knock retard causing the problem, thanks.
