Head/Cam Questions.
Going with Lloyds head/cam package and I want to make sure I am purchasing everything needed on my end so I can install these upon completion.
ARP 7/16 studs
GM 14011051 guide plates
7.2 Comp High Tech pushrods
Comp Pro Magnum 1.6 ratio 7/16 stud NSA rocker arms
Do I need new lifters as well?
Also, would the 7.2 Comp Energy Tech Pushrods surfice for my goals?
400-420HP N/A 6400rpm shifts...

Re: Head/Cam Questions.
Don't forget:
-head bolt kit from ARP
-heavy duty timing chain set, Cloyes TR or Rollmaster (if you ever want to go to an elec. waterpump now is the time)
-lifters are a good idea, comp "R" or crane
-gaskets (might as well get a whole replacement kit)
-7.2 High Energy Tech pushrods should be fine, if you get the heads milled for higher compression you will need shorter ones.
-Injectors 30#, 32# or 36# (stock ones 24# will max out with you goals)
I've found Combination Motorsports a good source of information. If you unsure of anything give them a call, very helpful.

Re: Head/Cam Questions.
Yah, Lloyd gave me a run down of what I would need. I was just seeing if it was necessary to get new lifters as well... From what I hear the lifters will just pretty much make my valvetrain sound quite...?
