Got a chance to get a good deal on a cam,rr's pushrods and lifters, but it is from a 96, and mine is a 93... will it fit right in mine, or is the dowel pin too long. what would be involved in making it fit, or should I just get one to fit my car..thanks..

the dowel is longer but i think you can trim it, its not a great thing to do but you could make it work.

 

trim the dowel pin, other than that its the same thing.
put your old cam and the new one right next to each other, mark, and cut

 

Here's a third backup for what those guys are saying, and it's coming from another 93 guy. Cut the dowel pin down, good to go.

Swing by www.speeddensity.org sometime, we'd like to get at least ONE yellow 93 over there.

 

no trimming required, just tap the pin in farther. thats been my experience anyway.........
