Ok sucking oil in between heads and intake
Ok sucking oil in between heads and intake
Any ideas on how to fix this? I've already had the intake milled once. Used Felpro gaskets, and GM gaskets several times with and without FIPG stuff(toyota stuff). I'm lost on what to do next...
Re: Ok sucking oil in between heads and intake
Are you sure it's sucking it between the heads and intake? Is it sucking it into the port through the lifter valley?
The reason I ask is because I thought I had the same problem but it was really a bad PCV valve which was pulling a lot of oil into the intake and all the ports, then oiling up the intake gaskets and making them leak even more oil in.

I think the toyota stuff you're talking about is similiar to this, but i use a nonhardening sealant from advance/napa/etc around the intake ports to keep it sealed good.
Just brush it around the port and on the top of the gasket.

Yeah it's sucking from the lifter valley, it's dry up to the head, and you can see the oil on the gasket, and theres a film of oil in the ports. May have to just mill the damn thing again, but I really don't want too.
