Thanks for the INFO. Well it is no where near close to failing. The CO2 level was max @ 48 i think...and I got 14.8. I'll post the MAX amounts later today.

I'm going to try to reset the battery. I have not done that since I fixed my O2 sensors. Maybe thats the problem. Where is the PCM fuse?....thats one of those fuses under the stering wheel right?

Depends..... some years have the fuse in the panel on the driver's side end of dash, others have it in the convenience fuse/relay box under the hood, on the front of the driver's side inner metal fender. The covers have fuse diagrams, and your Owner's Manual has diagrams of both locations, showing the fuse name and telling you what loads are on the fuse. If you don't have an Owner's Manual, Shoebox has a link to those too:

well its a 97 ss z28.

Somehow the top cover that goes over the fuses under the steering wheel is missing...so i dont know which fuse goes to what. I tried looking through that manual and i couldnt find the fuse diagram that tells you. Hmmm?

What fuses under the steering wheel? Doesn't it still have the panel on the end of the dash?

yea that's what i mean, the ones on the side as soon as you open the door. The top cover fell off and probably fell on the street somewhere. It's gone so i dont know how i can find this fuse your talking about without the diagram. I was looking through that manual u posted and it doesnt say.

No, you don't.

If you have not reset codes with the tool or disconnected the battery since the O2 replacement, then there is a slight chance that resetting the PCM (i.e., disconnect the battery) will do something useful.

p. 6-70. I've never seen a camaro owner's manual before and it took me about 10 seconds to find it from the link he posted. (not including the slow download time...)

I went ahead and bought one of those O2 sims. I only need one right? I was thinking though...If this problem ends up being my wiring will it even matter if i put the 02 sim in?

Talked to a bunch of certified mechanics and they told me the laws are so strict in Cali that even if your car passes the sniff test, your CAT could still be bad because these cars are designed to spit out the p0420 code even if your cat is just slightly running below normal.

Rather then spending 700 bux for a new cat or buying a used one with no guarantee it will work, i decided to buy two of those 02 sims injuneer was talking about.

They are on their way from canada and will be ariving probably next. I planning on trying to replace these myself. What tools am I going to need guys?
