Re: Will a 94pcm work in my 95?

I have no idea how to program a pcm, so I don't think someone could email me something and it do any good.

Does anyone have a computer they want to sell me? What are the factors that make each computer unique? (Rear end gears, cam, etc?)

Re: Will a 94pcm work in my 95?

There isn't anything unique about the computer itself. (since all 94-95 f-body PCMs are physically the same except for the knock module in some cases)

It's the program that is unique... and as far as what makes it unique, it's all the modifications you have, including gear ratio, transmission type, idle, certain codes, timing tables, fuel tables, etc.

If you need a tune that will work, you can send me your working PCM, fill out an order and I will tune it for your modifications. You can also buy another PCM...stock or tuned. Check out my website: http://www.madz28.com

Let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Will a 94pcm work in my 95?

Problem solved. I'm guessing the computer was NOT programmed to bypass the vats automatically. The mech said he bypassed it manually. So now, I have me a nice setup, and the pcm is already programmed just for it.

Now I just have to wait until tomorrow for my y-pipe to get in and its time to rock & roll! yeehaw! This has been the longest three weeks of my entire life! If you don't know what I've been waiting on for the three weeks, just look in my sig.

Good to hear, so what did he do just remove the Vats module and jump the wires?

I assume thats what he did. He said he "bypassed the vats".

I'm so damn happy right now I can't contain myself! Its going to feel just like my '78z. I'll probably even shed a few tears when I crank it up and take off. Hopefully I won't get hit by a drunk driver for the third time.

The LT1 is a smooth machine, when modified it can almost make you forget about some of the old Muscle.
