Yes. I don't see why it wouldn't. You might have to change PCM settings, probably not though.

I wish I had more info on this, but I believe the solenoids in the valve body are different. They do the same thing, but electrically speaking I belive they have different electrical requirements. Other than that, everything else is identical. Again, I'm not 100% on that, but if there is anything, that's where to look. Might check an online tranny parts store to see if the solenoids are diff on the 94. Hope this helps you a little.

Happy Thanksgiving!

plappo is right a 94 won't work in a 95+. Something in the controls. I wish I could remember what it was.

The TCC solenoid comes to mind, but I am not sure if this is the only thing. Maybe you could swap the 97 solenoid to the 94 tranny when changing them.

Several of my customers run a 96-97 PCM on a 94 tranny. So that will definetely work. The wiring is probabably a little different, but it should work.

A 95+ won't work in a 94 however. (not with the stock tune and wiring)

I have just the opposite, a 94 M6 car with a 97 T/A tranny. I stripped the whole harness all the way back to the computer out of the T/A, But there was one tan wire that had no place. Notindentified in the 94 GM factory manual. I didn't hook it up. Anyone know what this wire is/does? Do I need a 97 PCM? The caris not running yet, I have talked to Brian at PCM FOR LESS. He said it would work. ANy input?
