Will a 5speed center console work in our cars

My buddy has a 5 speed center console out of his 98 V6 camaro and I was wondering if it would work in my car. Is the only difference the "5 speed shiftgate" sticker?

Actually there was an update in the interior in 97 so the consol from the 98 is a little different than the one in your 96. Other than that I think it would work just fine.

I think it could work, but modifications would probably have to be done. I think the opening for the shifter cover may be different sizes...I could definetly be wrong though.

Are you planning on a tranny swap too? Your A4 would look kinda weird with the M5 consol, plus I don't know how you'd get that to line up. But yeah the M5 are just like the M6 with a different sticker.

Should fit like a glove then, bolts should all be in the same place.
