Sorry if this a repeat question:

I recently purchase a 1996 Z28, manual 6 spd, 74,000miles. Everything is stock on this car. Whenever I'm in first or second gear and I give it just a little gas, I can hear this pop..pop..pop noise coming from what sounds like the exhaust, It seems to only do this when it's under a slight load (giving a little gas). When I'm in first gear letting the car coast and not giving any gas, I don't hear it. I was just curious to see if anyone else has had this issue before? I've considered taking it in, but have been putting it off now for a couple of months.
