i have a 97 trans am and yesterday i ran it at the 1/8 mile track and it only ran a 8.5 at about 85. i ran it three times and the time stayed the same but the trap speed dropped from 85 to 83 and then to 80 on the last run? hell it use to trap 79 with only headers. the car now has lloyd elliot heads, joe overton cam, electric wp, 1.6 rockers, ported intake, holley 52 mm tb, hooker lt headers. i think i messed up the u-joints on the last launch, becasue they sure are making a look of noise now. my 60ft times were all in the 1.9 area on full 26x10 hoosier drags with a 9 inch and 4.11 gears. anyone have any ideas how come it ran so slow?

 

I tran mine today with nittos 8.8 78 mph 8.9 2.0 I think its the weather down here also humid.. mods in sig
