why are pushrod ends popping off?

I have the $40 comp hardened pushrods. I have had two of the ***** pop off the end. Could there be something wrong with with my valvetrain, or is it you get what you pay for kind of thing. The pushrods are not bent or anything. I will order a better quality pushrod. i just want to make sure there is not something else causing this.

Thanks in advance,

Scott

Could be valve float or coil bind. And for a little more get some decent pushrods.

Summit owns trickflow so chances are they are trickflow pushrods.

If you're running guide plates, make sure the slot is cut deep enough and not causing binding as the rocker sweeps through its arc. If its not binding get out 80 bucks and buy some one piece trickflow pushrods with the swaged end.
