why is my car leaning out at 5K+ RPMs?
according to the calcuations (rpm x msec/1200) my injectors duty cycle is at 146% at 4034 RPMs and i have no knock
but once i hit 5000 RPMs i get 7 knock and my duty cycle becomes 90%
here is the msecs i have...
4034 RPMs = 32.46 (0 knock) (109%)
4907 RPMs = 33.26 (0 knock) (136%)
5304 RPMs = 19.1 ( 5.96 knock) (84.42%)
5585 RPMs = 18.65 (7 knock) (87%)
what the hell is going on?
why is my car giving less fuel uptop? obviously the pump/injectors are doing fine before 5000, (i mean putting out full pressure, which i know isnt good, but still not making me run lean) and as soon as i hit 5000 i get low inj pulse/duty cycle...
i popped a code saying maf is getting too high of a voltage or something from the DTC... so i'm thinking the MAF is maxing out which is causing it to give less fuel (but i thought once it maxes out, it dumps the fuel, not give less)
what do u all think is going on?
this is a turbo car btw... on 6psi

How did you address the issue of running theturbo with the 1bar MAP sensor?
