Why the first step is always: "disconnect battery"
So, heard a faint misfire - just as I had a little while ago when I wiggled spark plug number 2 and it was loose. I figured there must be another now. Armed with a 3/4 inch ratcheting box wrench and a socket I had an old HS shop teacher grind, this time I would be able to tighten whatever was lose. So, while attepting to tighten number 6 from the bottom, I slipped and hit the wrech somewhere around the starter/headers - bridging around there somewhere. The result was a nice hot shower of very bright sparks.
Now, I am curious what this may have hurt. Car started fine, MAY have taken a little longer for first start, but I tried again 10 minutes later and if was normal again.... Should I be concerned? Thanks!

If anything I think you may have blown a fuse or something like that, I'm not really sure, but I've done similar stuff on a previous car of mine and everything seemed ok...

eh,
if it runs fine now i wouldn't be concerned...sparks are cool lookin
i doubt you screwed anything up, otherwise the car wouldn't have started

All you did was short the positive lead from the battery that runs to the starter to a header. That should affect absolutely nothing but your hand, and maybe put a burn mark on the offending metal.
