Why does my ABS light come on when I get on the gas?

Just like the title says, why is it whenever I hit WOT, even if it's only for a second or two, my ABS light comes on and stays on untill I shut off the car? When I start up the car again, the light is out. I'm not getting any "service engine soon" lights and it happens whether I'm on the highway or going from a standstill. WTF

Please reply if you can suggest anything.

Well if you just did your spark plug wires you might have them to close to the sensor. That happened to me my first time i did plugs and wires. It also could be your sensor is going bad, loose wire or something. Have you looked at yet?

By "sensor" I'm assuming your talking about the ABS sensor correct? Yeah I did look at that and evething seems to be the way it should be. I haven't touched the plug wires recently so I don't think that would be the reason. Could this possibly be costing me power? My car is really loud (especially now that I switched over to LT's over my shorties) The car shakes a lot. Could all the vibration from the noise be interfearing with some senor somewhere on the car? I really have no idea. I need help fast. I'm scared that I could be damaging something on my car whenever I floor it.

I dont think the vibration would cause it to go off. If you can get ahold of a scanner it might tell you if the abs sensor is bad or not. If i recall right the abs sensor is on the wheel hub and its not hard to change at all. Dont think it was very expensive either. I cant think of anything else besides one of them being bad. Hopefully someone else can help ya.
