why does it idle so rough?

i have a 95 z28 m6...
it has hardened pistons,Moroso Cold Air Intake, aftermarket mass airflow sensor. It has a 58mm BBK throttle body, Ported and Polished Heads, and a Crower Stroker kit,Tall Cam Shafts, Hardened Crower Pistons, Connection Rods and Push Rods. Edelbrock Headers,3-in Cat-back Exhaust coming out of a Spin-Tech muffler.
thats what it has in it now here is the problem.
i wouldnt say that it idles weird cause the rpm's dont jump they stay at a steady 7-800. the cats are cloged ... i think that might play a part in it but im not sure. so is it the cats or should i have it dyno tuned? it just sounds horrible .. it sounds like its starveing for fuel... i dont know really thats why im askn all of you maybe you can help.
thanks

Re: why does it idle so rough?

Who tuned it? How big are the "Tall Cam Shafts"? 700rpm is below normal idle spec for an M6.... but that might have been changed as part of your tune.

If you know the cats are "cloged"..... why not replace them and see if it solves the problem. It's certainly hurting the power the engine is capable of making.

How many cubes as a result of the "Crower Stroker kit"? What size injectors? What kind of HP is it making?
