why does DFI (accell and FAST) use one o2?

just wondering because how would one know if one side was running lean or rich? and is there a way to utilize two 02s?

I am currently using an Fast system with my setup and am running one wideband O2-sensor. I found out that one side was running rich when I put the car on a chassis dyno. Turned out that my valves were not seated correctly causing one side to run richer than the other.

so with the dfi there is no way of knowing if one side was running lean or not. is there a way around this other then chasis dyno? ive e mailed accel and got this response:

If the engine is built properly, the fuel used on the left should be the same as the right. Only reason that should be changed would be if the individual cylinder trims have been modified. If it is that much of a concern, there would be 02 sensors in every pipe if something is that askew. Thanks for your inquiry!

that just plain sucks, in our cars just by screwing the throttle stop screw in or out splits the BLM's from left to right & vise versa, if you have no way of teling your BLM's on either side that blows big time, I'd throw it in the garbage far far away

Yeah I guess you have no choice, but I feel the DFI system is stupid for doing that, that is rediculous, but nah, whatever, Ohh I know leave your o2's in the exhaust & wire up those air/fuel ratio guages on the A-pillar, since you only need to know your ratio at idle/crusiing it will be 100% accurate, & display it in iether rich/lean bars, thats an awesome idea come to think of it if everything is well there at WOT you won't worry at all

there hope that makes you feel better now
