Question Why Does Car Die????

Alright, about a month ago, I was putting my new opti, new waterpump, new wires, and plugs on. Well when I got everything back on, the car would only start when the MAF was unplugged. Well yesterday, I recieved my new MAF, and put it on today. Well my car started with it plugged in, but would die after about 5 sec. It did this for about 10-15 times. Then it would run alittle longer and the rpms started to jump from 1000 to 600 and about a min or two it would die again. I unplugged the MAF and it runs fine, so what is going on?????

Re: Why Does Car Die????

it snowed to much up here in the last day, so when it goes away, i will take it up to autozone to scan for codes. I will have to drive it up there with the MAF unplugged.
