Cool

Mine gets warm to.I think this is because my foot is real close to the engine and trans.(Actually ,my leg rests against the trans hump, real warm).I think this is normal.Anybody else?

It's the vents. They let in air down there all the time. You're just getting heated air funneled in curtisy of the engine and trany..

If you are running air conditioning, floor vents are cut off at max cool which is the only setting that doesn't let in outside air. GM's excuse for this is that not letting in outside air would make the humidity go too low in the car. That may well be true in Detroit but not in Texas. I modified my AC to be optional inside/outside air in any vent setting so now I have cooler feet in the summer. This has an additional advantge of not being poisoned by stinky exhaust in traffic when running the heater in the winter.
