Who's running a Victor Jr. or similar intake?
Re: Who's running a Victor Jr. or similar intake?
I am running a MTI lid (LS1 style) with my front end conversion. I could reuse it for my Single plain conversion but instead I may go with a 360 degree filter that is open connected from the 90 TB and MAF sensor. I haven't evaluated if the LS1 induction is a restriction as of yet though, so I may just go with what I already have.
I plan on running a Victor E (its between the Victor JR, and Supre vic in performance FROM WHAT I HAVE READ) if the Super vic will not fit, Still haven't figured out if a SUPER VIC will fit on a WS6 hood with a Milled elbow, I know it will be close, But I would hate to spend $850 on a Super vic and find out it will not FIT

On the TB subject, I have heard more than a few people say that you can't go to big on a TB. I have also read some other posts by some other well known, knowledgable people on this board saying that a Bigger TB is the best way to make up for lack of plenum volume.

But you do have to convert the intake to LT1 bolt pattern, (got that)
You need machine work for the 100* elbow? vacuum ports for what??
Fab for the intake (injectors and whatnot)
Fuel rails
90mm TB
What plumbing?
What do you do with the MAF sensor?? I will have stck PCM
I have Fuel Pres Reg, cam and will get a good tune.
what will all the Various AN Fittings cost??
What else do you need to know??

Yeah, plumbing for fuel and vacuum lines. AN fitting cost can be determined from Jegs or Summit catalog when you decide what you need.
To take full advantage of the Super Vic and its longer runners and therefore different tuning, the cam should be matched to the intake setup and the heads.
These comments are based on observing a number of these conversions happen.
Re: Who's running a Victor Jr. or similar intake?
Hey guys looking on ebay and I foun something that is made for use with a converted Victor intake (EFI of Course) and supposedly gives more room to play with under the hood and makes power. Take a look

I don't know how much this thing cost but I am going to look into it and post more INFO

If ya go with a 4 hole there are no issues with throttle response instead of a goose neck and one from John(Accufab)
I ran 2 1060CFM each on a 408 and no problems.
Re: Who's running a Victor Jr. or similar intake?
I wonder is there would be more clearance with a 4 barrel setup and a smaller style elbow (I can't remember the site but Mindgame posted it in another thread) then connect the MAF sensor and Filter to the end of the elbow. I also believe the 4 barrel setup comes with the TPS, and a few other goodies already installed with the 4 barrel. I think its from ForceEFI or something like that.

It doesn't matter how you get the CFM either it can be a 105mm TB or a 4bbl 2000cfm TB and it will still work the same... the issue usually comes down to other things if it has bad throttle response, as I said you have to be smart enough to know what those things are.
