i cant tell on a public forum. he works for one of the big race engine builders. i.e. 4 second $100K pro mod engines. but he does stuff on the side for pretty good prices, the work is awesome. but since its side work it takes him longer then most. pm me if you want his name and number.

daniel at www.simplequickracing.com (817)738-race also does good work and he's honest. ive known him about 10 years.

its ~$530 for either kit, plus whatever they charge for shipping and handling.

Thanks alot, I'd be picking it up since I live 45 minutes away from Summit, but that doesnt seem like too bad of a price. Just incase I ever blow the engine or feel a need to rebuild it, I now know the price or performance. Go forged just for the hell of future potential.

what does it do? pumps oil...its a high volume pump, so itll clear out your stock oil pan pretty quickly. that's why a stock replacement Melling is suggested unless you go with an aftermarket, deeper oil pan with the HV pump.

I used the forged rebuild kit from Summit when I built my engine. I plan on spraying up to a 200 shot in the future, so I wanted forged pistons. I think the Hyper kit is about $430 or so, so it's a little cheaper. Great kit at a great price.
