You mean finding Zero lash? Tightening down the rocker arm nut while the car is running? if so, thats not a performance mod, its made to keep your nuts on the rocker arm tight so they dont keep coming off like mine.

Oh ok, misread something then.

yea if you have ticking, locate which valve cover its under...jes by putting your ear up to each, you will be able to tell. Then take off the valve cover(3/4 socket will get that off)....
Then you will need a deep socket(5/8 I think not sure).
When the car is running, try to locate the ticking with your ear, if you cant, go over each one and tighten them a bit until you hear it stop. This is your nut. then when it stops, tighten another 1/4 to 1/2 turn to find your "zero lash"

Hope this helps, if you got any questions ask away.

Alright good... Well i already did that and i wanted to see if what i did was a good thing or a bad thing to do.... I re-adjusted them all and did a 1/4 turn but sometimes i can hear ticking so im gonna try between 1/4 to 1/2 turn after the ticking goes away...

When I adjusted it the first time I felt a diffrence i like i got some power back, before i couldnt even queel the tire on light throttle but now i can...
Some of them nuts were on there so tight it was unbelieveable but when i adjusted them i can tell the engine breathing alot better.

Sorry if i dont make sense, i have a few in me

haha its cool. yea if it keeps loosening up, good luck. Mines been doing that for 3 weeks now and ive been trying to fix it...I got a new rocker arm stud and new rocker arm nut, but its still loosening up. So im ordering a whole new rocker arm kit, and see if that works.
