Whos 6 speed tranny growls at them comming out of first with little gas?

My tranny like to growl when I take off with minimal gas and in low rpms. Does not seem to do it too much when it is cold but gets a little on the wild side when warm.

Anyone elses does this? Its okay after that.

I think it's the throwout bearing on the clutch. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Something to do with it being a reverse pressure design. I'm not totally sure on this because i'm still on my stock clutch. Bottom line though is that people say it's nothing to worry about, most of our cars do it to varying degrees. Even my cousins new vette does it, although quieter than mine.

Yikes!!! 100 other noises???????? Maybe I should consider myself lucky.

Its just sooooooooo embarrasing leaving a bunch of friends and having them hear my cars bearings, or whatever it is, growl at them like a dog with a bone. But, its.....

Mine does it too, even with a new clutch, PP, throwout bearing and pilot bearing. Same thing on the 95 Transam I had before, so I guess it's normal

Cool

My drivetrain is way more noisy than I would prefer up and down the gears at low rpms. High rpms is a different story!
