Err have fun. People like Ed (Ed95Pont) have only gotten to 12 flat/high 11s on stock heads and a solid roller. Low 11s/10s n/a 350/355 and stock heads.... eh I'm not even gonna get into it.

Havent run a 1/4 yet but i did get a 7.35 @ 94 in our local 8th that might be high 10's in the 1/4. I have a 355 with stock valves. The heads are ported though. I am running the 233/239, LW 6" rods, Lw crank, and 11:1 compression.

There are a few guys running mid to high 11's with just a cam and bolt ons. With a set of ported stock castings/cam and all the bolt ons 11's should not be a problem. One thing to remember is that ET is based on getting the power to the ground. There are plenty of people who make less power, but run faster times because of suspension set up.
Its not just one part that will give you hp, its the entire combination working together. Best bet is to copy a proven package that works as this hobby of ours is not cheap. Do right the first time and enjoy!

Sounds good, but I think he is wanting to do this with a HR cam and lt1 casting heads. I might be tring high 10's with a 383 and LE3 package here soon.

95bird is running high 10's with a built 355 and Cam Motion solid roller. Of course the car is very well setup too.

If you want, I can give you the number to a guy who does a great job specing custom cams. PM me if you're interested.
